On March 30th, 2012, at the Clinical-Hospital Center of Zemun, first two adult patients were implanted with Baha implants (bone conduction hearing solution). Surgeries were successfully performed by Ass.Dr.Sci.Med. Ljiljana Cvorovic - chief of the ENT Department. According to Dr. Cvorovic, Baha implant is a good choice for persons who have double-sided congenital anomaly of the outer ear, as well as for those who have chronic infections of the outer and middle ear but due to permanent infections, classic hearing aid is not of much help.

Last weekend of March in "Relax" Resort in Kovacica (place near Belgrade) an event that gathered people employed in Audio BM was held. On this occasion new products of Unitron company were presented and training of Audio BM staff took place. The focus was on Quantum & Moxi - new hearing aids based on the Era platform which are programmed with TrueFit - new software for programming hearing aids. On behalf of Unitron company Mr. Maarten Dekker - Regional Director Business Development and Mr. Douglas Baldwin - Audiology and Training Manager, attended this event.

The accredited conference "ENT News" within the continuous health education, in organization of Audio BM and with support of the Medical Faculty in Novi Sad and the Clinical Center of Vojvodina as well as support of the foreign business partners - companies Bernafon, Unitron, Cochlear, GN Otometrics and Summit Medical, is successfully ended. Around 250 guests from the country and abroad was present on this occasion. Chiefs of the educational team were Prof.Dr Rajko Jovic and Prof.Dr Zoran Komazec (both from the Clinical Center of Vojvodina), and lectures were held by esteemed ENT specialists and defectologists from the Clinical Center of Vojvodina, Clinical Center of Srbija, Clinical Hospital Center Zvezdara, Clinical Hospital Center Zemun, Institute for mother and child "Dr Vukan Cupic", ENT Clinic Zagreb (Croatia), ENT Clinic Rijeka (Croatia), University Medical Center Maribor (Slovenia), as well as lecturers from Switzerland, Czech Republic, England and Denmark.

Audio BM in cooperation with the Medical Faculty in Novi Sad and the Clinical Center of Vojvodina and with support of foreign business partners, companies Bernafon, Unitron, Cochlear, GN Otometrics and Summit Medical (former Micromedics), is organizing traditional educational seminar in November 25-26th, 2011 on the "Fish Island" in Novi Sad. This year seminar, traditionally named "ENT news", will be accredited and around 200 ENT specialists from Serbia and surrounding countries are expected to come. As it was the case in previous years, lectures will be held by esteemed experts from the country and abroad. On Friday 25.11, after closing the 1st day of lecturing, gala dinner is planned in "Alaska Barka" restaurant on the "Fish Island", and the following day, after the certificates award, lunch for the participants will be organized.

EUHA Congress was held in Nuremberg (Germany) in October 19-21, 2011. As it was the case in previous years, Audio BM was present at the biggest European Congress in hearing aids field this year as well.

Day before the official opening of the Congress, Unitron company organized the Unitron International Partner Day, it's a day when all Unitron's distributors meets. On this occasion new Unitron platform named ERA was presented, on which new hearing aids Quantum and Moxi were designed. Also new fitting software TrueFit has been introduces. After lunch break two workshops were organized - product&audiology workshop and marketing workshop, and the event closed with the dinner for the participants.

New shop of Audio BM has been opened on September 17th, 2011 in downtown of Nis city, Prijezdina 6 street, where the building of the Republic Institute for Health Insurance is situated as well. Opening ceremony started with cocktail in new premises and continued with lunch in "Stara Srbija" restaurant. Beside hosts from branch office in Nis, general manager of company Audio BM, staff of the company from head office in Novi Sad, chiefs of branch offices in Belgrade and Gradiska, as well as numerous ENT specialists from the region, attended this opening.
